1.)My style of writing is to not clue the reader in on a lot of things going on in the background, or that happened prior, or when the story is focused elsewhere that most likely will become relevant to the story later on. You will learn those details when it is necessary for you to know them. Remember- you don't know the whole story yet, and things are not always as they seem.
