Downloads-Poses- Sunny's Lets Talk! Pose Pack

If you're a story teller chances are you've used every EA animation and every conversation pose out there you can get your hands on and are itching for more. I know I did since my story revolves around my sims talking to one another. (Shocker, huh?) But the problems I have currently with the poses out there is there are either very specifically for a table, or you've already used them a million times, or my seating arrangement means my sims will be talking and facing away from one another if I use the poses I have. So I decided to take a hammer to the current box and beat the heck out of it to see if I couldn't make a triangle. And I did. This is the result: A pose pack I designed to be as versatile as possible with poses for tables and chairs, or couches and living chairs. It's for males and females. It's for some who listen and some who talk. It's for sims who talk to more than one sim at a time while seated. And it's for story tellers to add on to existing pose packs with a minimum amount of fuss while keeping continuity in your pictures.

And before I show you my poses I'd like to say just a few things about it. First: Because of the limitations in blender and the way tables and chairs snap together in game the poses snap onto chairs a little oddly if you are using a table. Usually, when a sim sits at the table (or bar) they pull the chair out a bit. If you are posing only, the chair is not pulled out. So, if you are using a table I'd suggest placing your sims, then placing the chairs, and then placing the table. If your seating arrangement is already in place, you're going to have to use alt to position the sims if they have a table in front of them, even if the pose is table compatible. They won't clip through the back of the chair, but you will need to push them all the way back. The couples poses snap together, but again, if the chairs are snapped to the table, you'll have to use alt to get them in place and avoid clipping.

The next thing is about the odd letters after the posecodes. If the pose has a T in the posecode the pose has been adjusted so that the posed sim will not clip into a table. If there is an R in the pose, the sim is facing to their right. An L means the sim is facing their left. Only one of the female poses does not have the variations for right and left facing. All other single sim poses do. The couples poses require a table. If the pose ends in a C it means the sims mouth is open, as if conversing.

This posepack is now poselist enabled. The download includes all poses, images with pose codes, and a readme with the above bits about the letters within the codes.

Thank you and I hope you enjoy this. If you are using my poses in your story and it's posted somewhere online I'd love to see them in action and ask you leave a link in the comments below. I'll even leave a comment back!

    1. Lol! I could probably do a few if you really need. It might take a few days though. And right now it feels like I'll never get less busy. Oh well!

    2. *ahem* Misty... Psst... I'm currently working on one, actually... Or, about to. I'll make some variations of them because mine will be back to back but nobody else is likely to need that...

  2. Hehe. I remember the day well where I forced you to make these for me ;) Yes, thats right everyone reading, I force people to do things for me! Muhahahaaaaa
Thank you again for these :)

Oh, and to users: That two-tile (and the one-tile, thinking about it) table from seasons? It's a clipping nightmare. Honestly, never use it ever. Even EA animations for eating at it clip, so just pick a different table if you don't want clipping. Kthanx :)

    1. Lol! You didn't force me. You asked, I obliged. Ha! You're quite welcome!

*giggles. I still haven't used that table in game and with all your warnings about it I don't think I ever will. Ha!
