I'm BACK!!!! You didn't expect me to learn something new and cool like Tattoo making and not keep it in practice did you? Sillies... So! This time! New Man Model. But he's only here for the first one because I made him in like 2 seconds for testing and when I discovered the gorgeous I'd created I decided to keep the photos. (Can't keep using Ignacio y'know? Not since I killed him. HA!) Come on out Axl and show all the ladies the goods. No need to be that enthusiastic boy. You won't be back.

It's a FEATHER!!! And it's so beautiful! *sobs at the pretty. It is ONE channel. ONE!!! But you can recolor that one channel if you'd like. But wait a moment! What's that? Ah! Well spotted! That does indeed look like a colorful feather on his chest (so with a little CAS magic we'll... ah-huh. Uh huh. Yup! There we go.)

But of course I worked my tail off and made it recolored! I know it's not as full as the black one, but pixels. You don't want huge blocky pixels on your pixel dollies do you? Of course not.

It's Three Recolorable Channels for your tattooing pleasure. Red is the tip, Green in the middle, and blue at the base.

So you can change those puppies up, or use one of the three nifty presets that are included.


SECOND! This bit of awesomeness that I lovingly carved out and made. But this time, we'll use our new man model. Oh Garrett! Garrett is our new piece of ManMeat to model the goods. Isn't he pretty?

Isn't it Lovely? This wonderous beauty took me two days to make sure I kept as much of the beautiful original as I could.The pen strokes won't pixelate and It's really stunning in game. But of course I couldn't take away your right to color your world! So there are 2 options!

Option 2 has 4 recolorable channels. 4! The alpha channel is the feather itself (Black in the picture.) And the birds are a 3 channel gradient.

 Option 2 Preset 3. Colors closer to white or very bright colors are going to look a little funny in game, but they'll try to deceive you by looking brilliant in CAS. Just a warning. Other than that these bad boys are going to look awesome in game and on your sims.

I'm Back bishes! Because I don't like that word, that's why.

So I've taken a bit of a break from tattoo making because I'm hard at work on a very special edition chapter that will be coming up in a little while. But my dearest fiancé Gemma reminded me that I haven't put up any tattoos in a while. Why should you be deprived of pretties now just because I'm working on a GIGANTIC pretty for you for later? We all need some bling just like our simmies do. So let's get some pretty shall we? Ignacio? Darling! So good to have you back. Shirtless sweetie. Yup. Yup. Yup. Now that's good!

Oh don't sulk Ignacio! It so ruins the look. Well fine then. Sulk. I still love you.    







Today's tattoo was designed by the fantastically talented EON-Art At Deviantart . Go take a peek at his goods and make the artist all happy, k?

 

Now, he only designed this to face in one direction. But I thought wouldn't that look nifty on someone's side? And then my superstitious side kicked in and screamed that it would be bad luck if the dragon were to be placed on his left side as it would face backward! So that's just something we can't have now can we. (You guys have no idea on the superstitious thing. That's dead honest. You should see my house and then talk to me about religion sometimes. I confuse religious peddlers on a regular basis. It's fun! Join me!)

 

Oh. I'm rambling off topic again aren't I? Huh. Oh yeah! Tattoo time!

 

 

 

                                                        So I went ahead and mirrored the lovely so your sims could have one on whatever side they want without tempting the grim reaper.           *snort. Sorry. I just had a vision of 'Death by Tattoo' for in game. Oh yeah. back on topic.

 

And as I'm going to make good and sure there are no excuses for backward facing tattoos I put them both in one simple to download package! Yay!

It's that time again for Sunny's Tattoo Tuesday! And Today's Totally Teeeeeeeeriffic Tattoo is a Two channel Tross! er, Cross! Seems I got a bit stuck on the T's today, but lets face it alliteration is fun! Oh wait. I haven't introduced that yet have I? Well big rounds of applause as I proudly introduce Sunny's Tattoo Tuesday! I figure I have time enough to make one decent set of tattoos a week (when I say 'a set' I'm talking colored, graded, shaded, outlined, glittered, stickered, glued, bound and gagged, whatever of ONE image. I'm slow at handpainting ya'll and a lot of these need a lot of clean up.) And I'll trot out the newest design on Tuesdays just because Tuesdays always get overlooked. Anyway, onto the show!

Let's bring out our beloved model shall we? Ignacio?  Your shirt goes on the floor, darling. Do you mind? Much better view of the goods that way.

I originally made this one 'cause my Ignacio needed a little something to spite his Mami with and it totally looks like him. So this one graces the back of his left calf. ('Cause, y'know, mixing religious symbolism on your body might be a good way to spite your mother. And no more spoilers for you! )

The names alone made you look twice didn't they? I bet the goods will make you look twice too.

So, for once, I have permission from an artist and I'm begging you to visit his page 'cause his freehand symmetry is absolutely mind blowing.  And the balance between the delicate curves and elegant lines with a razor sharp edge makes me weak in my knees. Most likely Layla will end up with one of them one day.

This is The Howling by MarWash. It's two masked figures facing off. But I think it looks like an insanely awesome lower back butterfly. OMG it's gorgeous. Again, make it too big and you're asking for a little distortion since some of the lines are super thin. This will most likely be what Layla gets.

This is Wick'd by MarWash. Doesn't the name fit? God, I love it. To me that's two tiny little dragons facing off. Again. Pure Awesomeness.

These are one channel only.

Don't ask about the butterfly on the lower back yet.

Love that title. Makes me think of voluptuous wings. But this? Not quite. And I love this. I spent like 6 hours getting the original image all handpainted and perfect for tattooinating. It is not meant for a large tattoo. The lines are uber delicate and graceful and they distort a bit when you scale it up. Just a warning. But who cares about my silly warnings? Lets see the lovely goods.

First- here's the link to the original image. If I could draw this well all I would do is draw which is why I give credit. Visit the link and make the artist happy. It's not an ad. It's not spam. It's not even malicious. It's me just giving credit where it's due. oKay?

Ignacio? Care to model my girly tattoo on your manly body? I knew you'd pull through, darling!

This one comes in 3 lovely varieties. The first is Black outline Only.

As seen on the lower part of Ignacio's back.
The top is the first preset of the Solid Color Butterfly. It has three solid colored channels and a recolorable alpha channel.

The first Channel is the wings. The second channel is the little droplets at the end of the wings.

You can't see it in the pics, but the third channel is the little pearls of color in the body. Just a subtle hint of color in the middle to tantalize. Obviously, you can recolor the outlines as well.


And now, for the third edition of my lovely Curvy Butterflies. These are my babies, yo. It took me forever to get this right.

The Second set is filled with a gradient I had to create my own damn self. (Gee. I seem to have a theme here) So this is Preset One. It still uses all the channels including alpha. So recoloring these badboys is just plain orgasmic in game. Oh! The Possibilities!

Downloads- Tattoos- Runic Tattoo Set

OMG! REAL RUNES! Yeah yeah. This is actually what got me started. I needed something specific for my dear Ignacio 's story and I couldn't find what I wanted anywhere. So I made it. Well, them. Here they are, simple as hell and probably awful, but The Runic Tattoo Set is for the sim looking for a little supernatural protection, strength, or who doesn't want a long string of runes running up their arm, or their leg, or their thigh, or their side, or their... Hmmm. Let's leave that there shall we? ;)

Now for a glimpse of the goods! I'd like to introduce our wonderful skin model Ignacio! He's going to help out while he's still taut and tight and totally tops. Ignacio? Would you mind letting these nice folks see today's wares?

Mmmmm! Nicely done dear. Doesn't his ARM look nice? Now for a breakdown:




So! The nifties:

Protection Rune: (The one on top in the pic below, yo.)

Everywhere I looked said this was a symbol of Protection. About 3 websites said it actually means Protection and Irresistibility. One Website said it means Protection and Irresistibility in Battle. Basically: pick your own meaning! For Ignacio it is a symbol of protection. But that'll come up later in the story. No more spoilers for you!

The bottom rune also has protection as a meaning. It is called Algiz. In game, my darling model has these two on his sides.

 

 

This one is the rune Uruz. According to my sources (Google Search-cause I just don't know myself so take the meanings with a huge grain of salt and feel free to correct me of these are insanely ludicrous meanings) it means Vitality, or Health.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Lovely Lady on the upper part of his back is not available yet. Don't ask. I've got to finish coloring her lower wings. Obviously the shading didn't come out the way I wanted. You'll get your chance with her once I'm satisfied. (Ooh. Doesn't that sound naughty?)

But! The Tattoo on Ignacio's lovely lower back is Tiwaz. According to my 'sources' it means Male, Strength, Victory.

This bad boy is Sol, which means something about Health and Wholeness.

 

And finally, Eihwaz. This guy is supposed to mean Defense and Perserverance.  No cutout of my darling Iggy's torso though cause apparently I forgot to greenscreen this one. Oopsie.

I used Gimp and drew these by  my own damn self. So that's why they are STRAIGHT LINES. I can do better ones if someone else draws them. Just wait for the curvy butterfly up soon. Oooh! You know you want to see that!

And as of this moment, if you ask really nicely I might take a request. Patience is a virtue though as to when you might get it if I accept your request. Also, if you didn't draw it yourself, I might not be able to share it and I might not make it on principle. But if you get me a link I'll try to link back at the very least. Many tattoo artists seem to be okay with that, but please try to make sure first. I really don't want to step on anyone's toes.
